Exclusive to UniSA Business students – this study tour has a focus on international accounting delivered virtually by UniSA Academic Professor Christine Helliar and hosted by our exchange partner - University of Bergamo, Italy.

Studying virtually from your own home might not be the same as being in-country, but with this study tour, you will still have the opportunity to study alongside University of Bergamo students to work on assignments and attend classes together!

During this virtual study tour, you will receive a taste of Italian language, food and culture from UniSA academic Dr Enza Tudini. UniSA will also organise a social activities program which includes: virtual tours of - Venice, Lake Como and Bosio Franciacorta Winery, located in Brescia. This social activities program will be face-to-face in Adelaide for UniSA students, giving you the chance to establish a network and build a rapport with your UniSA peers.

Program fee $50 application fee (requested after you are accepted into the virtual study tour)
Funding available Students stay enrolled at, and pay normal tuition fees to UniSA. No additional fee for 2022 social activities program required.
Eligibility
  • You must have a UniSA Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0 or above
  • You should have no more than 9 failed units in the program in which you are currently enrolled
  • At point of application, you must have completed and passed at least 18 units of your current program
  • You must be able to get approval from your Program Director that a minimum of 4.5 units credit will be awarded towards your current program for your virtual overseas study. Please note: undergraduate business students are eligible to credit either an elective course or Business and Society (BUSS 1057) in their program in lieu of this virtual overseas study.

  • Available for undergraduate and postgraduate UniSA Business students only
Other Information
  • You will be enrolled into a 4.5 unit UniSA course (course codes to be confirmed) upon acceptance into the virtual study tour
  • Withdrawal from this course, once accepted, may incur academic penailties. 
  • Final credit pre-approval to be determined by your Program Director
  • This study tour may run outside of normal study hours - please check to ensure the contact times suit your schedule.
  • Attendance and participation at all workshops are compulsory – dates of workshops will take place outside of the “tour” dates. Dates to be advised
  • Some face-to-face contact will be required. All will be in accordance with COVID-19
