Short term: Exchange

What is Short Term exchange?

• Short term exchange is where you study at one of our exchange partners for less than a regular semester.
• You are enrolled into UniSA’s exchange course and receive credit towards your current UniSA degree.
• Tuition fees at the host institution are waived and you continue to pay fees to UniSA.
• When considering an overseas opportunity it is your responsibility, as the student, to thoroughly research your chosen short term program and discuss with your Program Director.
• UniSA supports students undertaking short term opportunities through the availability of travel grants (eligibility criteria applies).

Please note: Students going on short term exchange must have be eligible to receive at least 4.5 units of credit toward their UniSA program.

These opportunities are managed by UniSA and offer a limited number of places for UniSA students that are tuition free. If unsuccessful in gaining a tuition free place you may still apply for a full fee place (unless otherwise stated). Some partners have a program fee that must be paid even if you have a tuition-free place, so please check this with the specific partner for your budgeting. Places are allocated based on academic merit, unless otherwise stated. For these programs your application is for both the UI travel grant and to be considered for a place in your selected program.
