Spring graduation ceremonies

Almost 2000 UniSA students graduated in late September, with about 1200 of them attending one of eight ceremonies at Pridham Hall to receive their academic parchment in front of friends and family.

During the ceremonies, UniSA made former South Australian Governor and social justice advocate Hieu Van Le AC an honorary Doctor of the University and conferred the title of Emeritus Professor on professors Bruce Thomas, Simon Beecham and Tim Olds.

2023 Pedal Prix success

UniSA’s first team to participate in the UniSA Australian HPV Super Series (the ‘Pedal Prix’), had an impressive inaugural year in 2023, finishing third in three out of the six events, in the community category.

The University’s Team EVO comprises students who are passionate pedal prix racers, experienced from years of participation in the primary and/or high school categories.

Team EVO is now gearing up for 2024, with plans to expand its participation to two teams.

The Pedal Prix commenced in 1986 at UniSA’s antecedent institution, the College of Advanced Education (Underdale campus) and has been held at numerous locations since, with UniSA the long-standing primary sponsor throughout its incarnations.
