  • New 3+1 Pathway to Masters in Business packages minus-thick plus-thick

    Students can now choose from the following programs which can be completed together in just four years of study.

    • Bachelor of Business (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) / Master of Management (Business Analytics)
    • Bachelor of Business (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) / Master of Management
    • Bachelor of Business (Property) / Master of Finance, including specialisations in Global Investment and Trade as well as Financial Planning.

  • Diploma in Languages (English Language) minus-thick plus-thick

    Students who speak English as a second language can sometimes find the transition to academic study extra challenging because of language and cultural issues. The Diploma in Languages (English Language) can help by developing proficiency and intercultural expertise in the English language.

    This diploma, which can be packaged with any university degree, provides students with intensive English language preparation prior to starting their study. Students can advance their speaking, writing, listening and reading abilities, and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills across a range of social and cultural contexts.

  • Program Update – Bachelor of Midwifery minus-thick plus-thick

    The English language admission requirement is changing in 2021 to meet Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council standards. Applicants will now need to demonstrate English language proficiency by providing a written declaration that English is their primary language or evidence that they have achieved the minimum English language test results. Existing English requirements will be honoured for some students.

  • Program Update – Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Bridging and Re-entry) minus-thick plus-thick

    The registration process for internationally qualified nurses and midwifes (IQNMs) in this degree has changed. There is also a requirement for outcomes-based assessment. As a result, this degree will have its final intake for international students in SP6 2020. There is now a new model of assessment for all IQNMs and you can find out more on the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s website.

  • New one-year engineering masters minus-thick plus-thick

    We’re excited to announce a new fast-track to masters option for students wishing to accelerate their engineering or construction management careers. This means students can fast-track their career and complete a master degree in just one year instead of two.

    Upon completion of an engineering (honours) or construction management (honours) degree at the University of South Australia, students can apply for the one-year fast-track masters option.

    We’re offering a one-year Master of Engineering (Engineering Management) degree to graduates from any Australian engineering bachelor (Honours) degree. All students are eligible to apply as long as their degree has been successfully completed, and is accredited by Engineers Australia.

  • 100% online Master of Management minus-thick plus-thick

    Great news, from Study Period 5 (July) 2021, the following two qualifications can be studied 100% online. This means students will now have two modes of study to choose from; a blend of online and on-campus study in Adelaide (pending travel restrictions) or 100% online from anywhere in the world.

  • Changes to Social Work English language requirements minus-thick plus-thick

    Starting in 2022, the English language requirements for the Bachelor of Social Work degree will increase to IELTS 7.0 with 7 in each sub-score (or equivalent), to comply with accreditation standards. If you have students who have already accepted a package pathway with one of our partners (SAIBT and EIBT) then they will have the conditions of their original offer honoured.
