Hong Kong  

UniSA has $7,000 prestigious New Colombo Plan mobility grants available for undergraduate students to study a semester exchange in SP2 2020.

Hong Kong Baptist University (Hong Kong)

  •  HKBU has a renowned School of Communication as well as a highly ranked Journalism School
  •  Located in Kowloon, HBKU is situated in one of the most densely populated places on earth, and the city is easily accessed by plane, boat, train, or bus
  •  The city offers both high end and cheap shopping areas, food services, and experiences
  •  With mountains, ocean, and city all within 50 square kilometres, studying at HBKU in Kowloon has a wide variety of potential experiences to offer students, and the entire area has a rich history to be discovered

 

The Chinese University of Hong Kong

  •  The CUHK is a public research university in Shatin, New Territories, Hong Kong
  •  The CUHK was established in 1963, and is a university that is as firmly rooted in Chinese culture as it is positioned in modern civilized society
  •  The CUHK campus is a famous haven for many varieties of flora and fauna which great care has been taken to protect and enhance
  •  Located in the northwest end of Sha Tin, 30 minutes by train from downtown Kowloon and 20 minutes to the Lo Wu border, the Chinese University is celebrated for the beauty of it's campus

 

City University of Hong Kong- ONLY open to Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment

  •  CityU has performed strongly in university rankings and is currently among the top 20 in Asia (Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2019) and the top 50 under 50 in the world (QS Top 50 under 50, 2019)
  •  Located at the south-eastern tip of mainland China and in the heart of Asia, Hong Kong enjoys an economic and strategic importance that exceeds its geographical size
  •  Hong Kong is also known for its beautiful and well-managed country parks and greens

 

You are eligible if you:

  •  Want to study a semester exchange in SP2 2020
  •  Are an Australian citizen
  •  Are enrolled at UniSA at the time of application and throughout the mobility program
  •  Are undertaking a Bachelor degree or Bachelor Honours degree at the commencement of the mobility project
  •  Are aged 18 - 28 years, inclusive, at the commencement of the mobility project
  •  Have not received Endeavour or NCP funding previously

All other UniSA Student Exchange criteria applies, including confirmation that you will receive at least 13.5 units of credit toward your current UniSA Program.

In addition to the $7,000 grant, you may also be eligible to apply for Australian Government OS HELP Loan, which is up to $7,000+ for study in Asia! Outbound students awarded an NCP or Endeavour grant are not eligible to receive the UniSA Travel Grant for the same overseas study program.

UniSA Study Overseas Team will assess all applications.

Grant allocations will be based on academic merit as determined by students' weighted average mark in their current UniSA degree at the time of assessment.

You do not need to apply for the grant as you will be considered automatically if you apply to go on exchange to one of the applicable partner universities.

Malaysia  

UniSA has $7,000 prestigious New Colombo Plan mobility grants available for undergraduate Social Work students to undertake their placement in India in SP2 2020.

Taylors University (Malaysia) grants available

  •  Taylor’s University is the number one private university in Malaysia according to QS University Rankings Asia 2018, and is listed in the top one percent of universities in Asia
  •  Taylor's runs the largest South Australian Matriculation (SAM) programme, and the Canadian Pre-University Programme (CPU), a programme recognised and acknowledged by top universities worldwide
  •  The university is located in the city of Subang Jaya, halfway between Kuala Lumpur and the state capital Shah Alam, and is part of the main education hub of Malaysia
  •  The city is filled with both malls and sport centres, and boasts an array of dining adventures for the explorative student

University of Malaya (Malaysia) grants available

  •  University of Malaya was established in 1962
  •  Located in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur. Which is home to British colonial-era landmarks such as the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building

You are eligible if you:

  •  Want to study a semester exchange in SP2 2020
  •  Are an Australian citizen

  • Are enrolled at UniSA at the time of application and throughout the mobility program

South Korea  

UniSA has $7,000 prestigious New Colombo Plan mobility grants available for undergraduate students to study a semester exchange in SP2 2020.

KAIST (South Korea)

  •  KAIST was established by the Korean government in 1971 as the nation's first research-oriented science and engineering institution
  •  Located in Daejeon, along with 17 other universities, the area is known as "Asia's Silicon Valley" and "high technology city"
  •  The main campus in Daejeon is 50 minutes from the capital Seoul (by high speed train) and only 30 minutes away from Cheongju airport, and the city itself has extensive public transport options
  •  The city is close to a number of mountains and scenic hiking routes, with national parks, hot springs, and natural playgrounds and open farms to visit. There’s also a number of popular museums, a theme park, a renowned zoo, and a number of local festivals that are must-see locations

Chung-Ang University

  •  Chung-Ang University was established in 1918 and respected as leading institution providing quality education, CAU has sped up the pace of innovation in local education
