The University of South Australia is seeking participants for our next 4-day/3-night live-in sleep study running from July 2025 to December 2026.
The study aims to improve the performance of wearable technology to track performance and fatigue. The study will involve a period of sleep restriction (8 hour sleep on night 1 followed by 40 hours of wakefulness and an 8 hour overnight recovery sleep).
The study includes performance testing, glucose monitoring and saliva collections.
All meals are provided.
Gender: male and female
Age: 18-40 years
Location: University of South Australia Magill Campus Sleep and Chronobiology Laboratory
Other criteria: Healthy, non-smoking adults with no history of sleep disorders
All meals are provided, and participants will be financially compensated with an honorarium of up to $500 for their participation in the study.
