About the study

We are investigating Virtual Reality and its ability to increase brain activity.  The research will involve playing a series of non-immersive VR games and the use of brain stimulation via transcranial magnetic stimulation and electrodes to measure hand muscle activity both before and after the gaming session.

Requirements

The study may be suitable for you if you:

  • Are a healthy adult, aged 18-40
  • Able to communicate & understand verbal and written English
  • Are not pregnant
  • Have no current or past neurological, cognitive, psychological, psychiatric, cognitive, or uncorrected vision conditions.
  • Have no history of epilepsy, seizures, or head injury
  • Have no metal implants or electronic devices in or near the skull
  • Have not had any recent falls, dental procedures, trauma, or infections

Time Required: 2x 60min sessions
