A history of early childhood education in South Australia – innovators, educators, crusaders: milestones identified in historical context

he project will further develop a web-based timeline showing milestones in early childhood education (ECE) from First Nations to present day.
The pilot version includes early childhood education milestones; the intention is to integrate this information around turning points in South Australian history of education and more broadly to add context and thus meaning.
The enhanced resource will be available through UniSA websites including the Library and UniSA Education Futures as well as the Department for Education SA to enable wider access.
It will promote the innovation and leadership demonstrated by early childhood educators in South Australia and make the deLissa Special Collection held at UniSA more accessible to the wider public.
