In recognition of European Climate Week, the Hawke EU Centre in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union to Australia and the EU Centre for Global Affairs at the University of Adelaide hosted a screening of The Age of Consequences at Palace Cinema on Tuesday 20 June, a documentary that looks at the impacts of climate change on increased resource scarcity and migration.

A one-day conference hosted by the Delegation of the European Union was also held in Adelaide on Tuesday 20 June 2017 and featured especially flown-in European guest speakers to address the issue of climate change.
