The Hawke EU Centre has granted funding to three UniSA research degree students to attend the ANU's 'European Studies Graduate Workshop - Researching the EU: Critical Perspectives for Critical Times'. The workshop will be held over two days on 28 and 29 May 2015 in Canberra. The winners, their presentation titles and abstracts, are detailed below:

Leandrit Mehmeti: 'The Challenges to the EU integration perspectives: The Western Balkans Focus'. (Abstract here)

Elena Spasovska: 'The Potential and Limitations of the European Union in promoting Gender Equality and Sustainable Peace within EU candidate states: the case of the Republic of Macedonia'. (Abstract here)

Solikhah Yuliatiningtyas: 'Why Jokowi won the 2014 presidential election in Indonesia? Comparative study between EU and Indonesia: Two Levels of Agenda Setting Theory'. (Abstract here)
