Over the past 12 months, UniSA International has appointed a number of current students to the role of International Student Ambassador. Their main responsibility is to assist with conversion by calling prospective international students who hold an offer to study with us. The aim of the calls is to allow a prospective student to:
- Make a positive connection with UniSA
- Ask any questions they might have about their offer or living in Adelaide
- Hear from a current student about their experience with studying at UniSA
The ambassadors complete a training program before they make calls from our office where they have the support of the wider admissions team. If a student queries the call with you, please reassure them that they are legitimate calls made by qualified staff.
We’re also pleased to be able to offer this opportunity to some of our amazing international students who gain paid work experience to help prepare them for their future careers after graduation!
