Many of you are receiving more information than we do at times in Dili, so it will come as no surprise to say that the situation continues to deteriorate, with the only unknown being how bad things can get. It is not my intention to go into details as to the havoc that politically orchestrated hooligans can lord over the people of Timor. They are currently demanding more media/public attention than they are worthy of as it is. We would instead prefer to give a voice to those who are not being heard, the women and children. As in all conflict situations, they remain the most vulnerable and sacrifice the most. Kirsty has one wish only, and that is to ask you all, to do what ever you are able to ensure the show goes on. If the need for money and support for the Alola Foundation was great before the crisis, you can only imagine how valuable your efforts are now.
