About the exhibition

Come and celebrate the work of the graduating Bachelor of Design (Graphic and Communication Design) students.

At its primary core, RE_ is a prefix. It appears at the start of many words, oftentimes to refer to the past. It is flexible in the context it is used. And it challenges the expectation of what is to come. When you see the word RE_, you expect it to be followed by something. This expectation represents the future. What if the second half of RE_ hasn't been written yet? It’s our job as designers to write this future.

To re_consider, meaning the past, to re_discover, referring to the future. As designers we re_frame, re_ideate, re_prototype, re_test, and re_peat. We should re_visit our past, and re_flect upon our present, to re_invent our future. RE_ encompasses the dynamic and innately collaborative nature of design.
