Experiences of rebuilding lives among women recovering from domestic violence

Would you like to share your experiences of rebuilding your life and the strengths you drew on to recover from domestic violence?

The research aims to explore how women use their inner strengths to rebuild their lives and social relationships after domestic violence. It is hoped that information gained through this study will help increase understanding about how women interpret their environmental and personal strengths’ role in the recovery.

The research will also provide professionals with insights into the healing process of the women who are survivors of domestic violence.

To be part of this study, you need to:

  • be a woman aged 20-40 years and a survivor of domestic violence 
  • to speak English fluently and be living in metropolitan Adelaide

The study will involve:

  • Taking part in a one hour interview. The interview will involve sharing your experiences using inner strengths and social relationships to recover from domestic violence.
