About the study:

Researchers from the University of South Australia are undertaking a study to co-design resources and/or strategies to improve the implementation of pain science education by physiotherapists.

What it involves:

This study will involve participating in three face-to-face (or online) workshops to help develop the resources/strategies, working alongside researchers, physiotherapists and people living with chronic pain.

You will be reimbursed $25 per workshop for your time (via Coles/Myer e-vouchers). This will total $75 if you attend all three workshops. For physiotherapists, time spent participating in the workshops can contribute toward CPD hours.

Eligibility:

You are eligible to participate if you are 18 years of age or over, currently live in South Australia, and:

  • you have chronic pain (≥3 months, any location)

OR

  • you are currently registered as a physiotherapist with the Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), and
  • you have ≥5 years’ experience treating patients with chronic pain, and
  • you have worked as a physiotherapist in a private practice clinical setting within the last 5 years
