Survey seeks to understand impact of COVID-19 on nursing and midwifery workforce
In an attempt to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic is being felt across the global nursing and midwifery workforce, we invited Nurses and Midwives to take part in a survey that was conducted by the Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre at the University of South Australia, supported by the Nursing Now campaign.
The aim of this survey was to find out how nurses and midwives are feeling about their work, and how they have been impacted by COVID-19.
Findings from this survey will inform the understanding of the occupational wellbeing among the nursing and midwifery workforce globally, and will help to identify areas where further support may be required.

COVID-19 contact tracing consultation
A UniSA study is recruiting South Australians to share their views on documenting their contacts and whereabouts to help with COVID-19 contact tracing.
As South Australia faces the challenges of a COVID-19 cluster, we are reminded of the importance of a rapid contact tracing response. Would you be willing to document your whereabouts and contacts, ready to share with contact tracers if you needed to? Please share you views by completing our short survey or by contacting us to arrange an interview over the phone.
The results of this project will arm us with ideas about how we can be better prepared to ensure contact tracing can happen as efficiently and effectively as possible to keep all South Australians safe.
