Be at the coal-face of in-season training. This six day intensive course provides you with a rare chance to benefit directly from Adelaide Football Club (AFC) and UniSA’s sport science expertise.
With course curriculum developed by UniSA’s internationally recognised exercise science expert Professor Kevin Norton and a range of Adelaide Football Club’s applied sports scientists, and strength and conditioning specialists. You’ll have access and direct engagement with the Adelaide Football Club’s High Performance, Sports Science and Coaching teams as they prepare elite-level athletes in one of the world’s most competitive sporting environments.
You will live and breathe in-season training with the full team and their inner sanctum as they prepare for games, manage recovery, and design and monitor training loads.
This course is designed for those with qualifications in sports science or those with high performance industry experience.

Based on the principle of work-integrated learning, you will be fully immersed in the high-performance environment of Australian Football League Club, the Adelaide Football Club (AFC).
You will be directly involved in planning meetings and delivery of all aspects of conditioning and physical preparation of elite athletes during the regular season of AFL and attend two 2019 Toyota AFL Premiership Season games at Adelaide Oval.

Students are required to have, or be enrolled in, a Bachelors degree in Human Movement, or Sports / Exercise Science or related area or can demonstrate at least 2 years experience in a high performance sporting environment.
Prospective students will be required to upload a one page summary supporting the application for enrolment to assess qualification to the criteria and suitability.
