Social Work at the University of South Australia

Mona Mahadevan (Singapore) Bachelor of Social Work (Honours)

“I was drawn to the University of South Australia because of the prospect of undertaking International field placements.  I completed my first placement with the Madras Christian College in Chennai, India where I worked at a Health Clinic and Primary School. As a lower socioeconomic area, it provided me with opportunities to utilise the theories and skills I had gained in the classroom in Adelaide."

The Master of Social Work is a two year program that builds on a student’s previous relevant award and explores social work knowledge, practice and values.
