Adelaide is abuzz this time of year with the myriad of festivals, events and parties taking over the city, none less than the upcoming Sanaa Festival, and the Sanaa Exhibition co-presented with The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre. Founder & Director of Sanaa, Victoria Lewis, came up with the idea filming a documentary in artist communities in East Africa and is excited to hold their annual event to brighten up the streets of Adelaide again. Addressing Workplace Bullying as An Organisational Problem
With one in 10 Australian workers being exposed to bullying at any one point in time, workplace bullying is a serious issue in our country. Professor Michelle Tuckey has spent 16 years at UniSA investigating wellbeing in the workplace, and alongside her fellow researchers from UniSA’s Centre for Workplace Excellence (CWeX), has developed an evidence-based risk audit tool to assess and mitigate the organisational risk factors for bullying at work. Exploring the theme of Home, the Sanaa Exhibition features contemporary Australian based artists from Aboriginal, African, Iranian, Colombian and Brazilian backgrounds alongside international artists from India, Senegal, Kenya and South Africa.

In this yarn, facilitated Professor Lester-Irabinna Rigney AM, the Pirku murititya UniSA Visiting Research Fellows will share their wealth of experience and expertise in their respective fields. This unprecedented biography of Hawke includes an exclusive series of interviews with him – the last that he gave – as well as unfiltered access to his extensive trove of personal papers. Troy Bramston tells the remarkable story of Hawke’s upbringing and education, the people and events that shaped him, his rise through the union movement, his complex personality and personal life, and his nine-year government from 1983 to 1991, plus his post-prime ministerial life and legacy.
