Clinical Supervisor Support Program
Aims to support and acknowledge student placement supervisors who regularly supervise students as part of their professional role.
The Clinical Supervisor Support Program is designed to support supervisors who frequently and regularly supervise UniSA students.
The Clinical Supervisor Central portal provides free access to a number of resources to enhance development opportunities for health professionals responsible for clinical placement supervision. Practical information and tools are provided for clinical educators, supervisors, facilitators, buddies and mentors of both staff and students. Staff who are supervising students are encourage to register with this site.
Clinical Education Workshops
The University of South Australia, hold Practice Education Workshop throughout the year for current and potential practice supervisors/educators/facilitators. The aim of each workshop is to bring together staff who facilitate student learning in the workplace and to share challenges encountered in practice education/supervision/facilitation and best practices to overcome these.
It is an excellent opportunity to meet professionals in a similar role and learn from similarities and differences in the way practice education is being done by others.
UniSA offers these workshops free of charge as appreciation of the expertise and time contributed by you to student learning.
