Why did you choose to study at the University of South Australia (UniSA)?
“I looked into furthering my study here after talking with a Professor during a visit to the Uni. And of course the research lab that could cater my topic of interest in research - helped me choose to study at UniSA.”
What are the benefits of UniSA and their teaching staff?
“I attended the Mawson Lakes campus and the environment is conducive to focus on study with not many lifestyle distractions compared to city campuses. The facilities I use most are the Library, Prayer Room and Aroma Café.
What I enjoy most about studying at UniSA is the full commitment shown by my supervisor in supervising me to do my research work. Other than that, the support system such as Library, and the Learning and Teaching Unit give me complete support to learn about research.”
What are your impressions of Adelaide?
“Adelaide is a small city but this is not a disadvantage for me. For me, if we would like to focus on our study, we have to choose a university that is located in this kind of city rather than a hectic city. I don’t experience any difficulties to settle down in Adelaide. I came here with my family which consists of my wife and three children. My family, especially my children were so happy with their schooling. The school is situated within the suburb we live and is walking distance from our house. The school teachers here are so dedicated to their teaching and until now my children show drastic improvement in their English language skills, have many good friends at school and also have received many awards from the school Principal.”
