About Beijing Normal University (China)

UniSA has $5,000 Endeavour - Cheung Kong Student Exchange Program (ECKSEP) mobility grants available for undergraduate students to study at Beijing Normal University in SP5 2019.

  •  BNU is one of the oldest and most prestigious Tier 1 universities in China.
  •  Located in Haidian district, Northwestern Beijing which has the largest concentration of top universities in China
  •  Beijing is approximately a 5 hour fast train ride from Shanghai and a 3.5 hour flight to Hong Kong
  •  As China’s capital city, Beijing is considered as the place where ancient and modern China meets

  •  Have not received Endeavour or NCP funding previously

 

All other UniSA Student Exchange criteria applies, including confirmation that you will receive at least 13.5 units of credit toward your current UniSA Program.

In addition to the $5,000 grant, students may also be eligible to apply for Australian Government OS HELP Loan, which is up to $7,000+ for study in Asia! Outbound students awarded an NCP or Endeavour grant are not eligible to receive the UniSA Travel Grant for the same overseas study program.

UniSA has $7,000 prestigious New Colombo Plan mobility grants available for undergraduate Social Work students to undertake their placement in India in SP5 2019.

Madras Christian College (India) (Undergraduate Social Work only)

  •  Consistently ranked among the top ten colleges in India, MCC is considered to be one of the most prestigious colleges in India.
  •  The 365-acre (1.48 km2) campus is known for its flora and fauna, notably deer and rare trees, and includes a lake on its campus.
  •  Located in Chennai (formerly Madras) the campus is well connected to road, rail, and air transport in and out
  •  The history of the city spans centuries, and is filled with rare and unusual sites as well as millions of people. For social work students, the area is rife with educational experiences and lifestyles.

Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (India) (Undergraduate Social Work only)

  •  The School of Social Work is one of the pioneering institutions in South India, establishing programmes and setting the standards for the field.
  •  The campus is lush and green and less than a kilometre from Kalamaserry Metro station.
  •  The campus is located in Kochi (also known as Cochin) is a city in southwest India's coastal Kerala state.

UniSA has $7,000 prestigious New Colombo Plan mobility grants available for undergraduate Social Work students to undertake their placement in India in SP5 2019.

  •  The university is located in the city of Subang Jaya, halfway between Kuala Lumpur and the state capital Shah Alam, and is part of the main education hub of Malaysia

UniSA has $7,000 prestigious New Colombo Plan mobility grants available for undergraduate Social Work students to undertake their placement in the Philippines in SP5 2019.

University of the Philippines Diliman (Philippines) (Undergraduate Social Work only)

  •  UPD has consistently ranked first in government-backed polls on the most significant higher education school in the entire Philippines, and is the seat of the National Science Complex
  •  UPD is located in Quezon City, the largest city in the Philippines with 2.7 million people and the second district of the Metro Manila area, which is also a hub for information technology and entertainment
  •  The nearest airport is only 30 minutes away with many transport options, and the UPD campus is located near a number of famous landmarks and parks
  •  The campus is also located near the SM City North EDSA, the largest mall in the Philippines and the world's third largest mall, with over 400 shops and 200 dining establishments.
  •  The surrounding area for UPD has a blend of Western and Filipino elements, as part of the city's modernisation and integration to the globalised world. This blend can be found in the language (e.g. written English vs. spoken Tagalog), in the religion, in the cuisine, and in many other aspects of day-to-day life - for instance, both rickshaws and American World War II vehicles are used as main public transportation forms. About KAIST (South Korea)

  •  KAIST was established by the Korean government in 1971 as the nation's first research-oriented science and engineering institution
  •  Located in Daejeon, along with 17 other universities, the area is known as "Asia's Silicon Valley" and "high technology city"
  •  The main campus in Daejeon is 50 minutes from the capital Seoul (by high speed train) and only 30 minutes away from Cheongju airport, and the city itself has extensive public transport options.
  •  The city is close to a number of mountains and scenic hiking routes, with national parks, hot springs, and natural playgrounds and open farms to visit. There’s also a number of popular museums, a theme park, a renowned zoo, and a number of local festivals that are must-see locations.

  •  Be an Australian citizen
  •  Be enrolled at UniSA at the time of application and throughout the mobility program

  •  Have a GPA of 5.0 or greater
  •  Have not received Endeavour or NCP funding previously
