As part of your Professional Engineering Practice (EEET 3033) core course assessment you are required to submit one report on 2 separate industry engagements. These can be based on either a site visit or an industry event that relates to engineering and professional practice, including Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).
For your benefit a selection of site visits has been negotiated during August and September 2017. Site visits provide critical industry knowledge that will assist you to become work ready and are valued by industry. They are also an opportunity to make valuable industry connections.
Once your place has been confirmed on a particular site visit, you will be notified of any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements for that site visit. As a minimum you will be required to wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants and fully enclosed shoes. The PPE requirements must be adhered to otherwise you will not be able to participate in the site visit.
Places are limited and it will be a first registered, first placed system.
Please select your 1st, 2nd and 3rd preferences from the list below and select if you require the bus to and from the venue.
The pick up and drop off point for the bus is between 'P' and 'MM' buildings at the times stated in the table below.
Requirements for admission to all sites:
- Wear long pants, long sleeves and closed shoes (no skirts or stockings).
- Other personal protective equipment will be provided and/or advised.
- Bring a photo ID.
