Psychology Placement

The Psychology Placement and Research Experience courses aim to enable students to:

  • Apply psychology knowledge and skills in a work setting
  • Use professional skills and behaviours in a work setting, and
  • Develop skills in reflecting on experiences as a foundation for learning and professional life. 

Bachelor of Psychological Science (MBPU)

Students undertake 1 x 150 hour placement either in Semester 1 (Study Period 2) or Semester 2 (Study Period 5)

Bachelor of Psychological Science (Cognitive Neuroscience) (MBCN)

Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) (MHPU)

Students undertake 1 x 50 hour experience in a research environment in Semester 2 (Study Period 5)

Supervision by Industry Professionals

Supervision conducted by industry professionals is a highly valued component of the work integrated learning experience undertaken by our undergraduate psychology students.
