Mount Gambier Regional Centre

Based in the picturesque Limestone Coast region of southeast South Australia, UniSA’s Mount Gambier Regional Centre provides important learning opportunities to country-based students and researchers.

Mount Gambier is the State’s largest regional city, and has become known as the home of the Blue Lake, a spectacular body of water that lies in the crater of a dormant volcano. The city is within easy reach of the famous Coonawarra wine region.

The Mount Gambier Regional Centre is co-located with TAFE SA on Wireless Road, Mount Gambier. It was established in 2005, as part of UniSA’s regional engagement strategy.

Mount Gambier offers students undergraduate programs in nursing, social work, primary and early childhood education, and UniSA Foundation Studies, which prepares students for tertiary education.

The Mount Gambier regional centre is an exciting development for UniSA, Mount Gambier and regional South Australia. Its success reflects extensive ongoing community consultations and collaborative partnerships.
