Supporting the Samstag Museum of Art
The Samstag Museum of Art is entering an exciting and ambitious phase in our development where your support is more important than ever. We welcome you to our exhibitions and public programs and look forward to establishing new and ongoing relationships for the future.
The Samstag Museum of Art is a non-profit museum and gallery whose core funding is provided entirely by the University of South Australia. The Museum also relies on partnerships and a variety of funding sources to extend its programs and community engagement.
Donations + Gifts
The University of South Australia invites you to support and become involved with the Samstag Museum of Art. The Museum is a tax-deductible gift recipient.
The Samstag Museum of Art is listed on the Register of Cultural Organisations and all donations of $2 or more qualify for a tax deduction. While cash donations are the principal form of support through this program, donations of assets such as real estate, shares and equipment are also tax deductible.
Your contribution will help the Samstag Museum of Art stimulate, challenge and engage its audiences with a program of innovative exhibitions, art acquisitions, publications, artists' talks and events that add genuine depth and variety to the visual arts and cultural life of South Australia.
Donations and gifts can be made at any time and all donations are tax deductible. For information about supporting the Samstag Museum or to discuss corporate partnerships please contact Erica Green, the Samstag Museum of Art Director.
Australian Government's Cultural Gifts Program
The Samstag Museum of Art is also registered to receive eligible works of art for the UniSA Art Collection through the Australian Government's Cultural Gifts Program. Gifts are exempt from capital gains tax. Donors can claim the cost of valuations and, in most cases, claim the full market value of the gift as a tax deduction. For further information please contact Erica Green, the Samstag Museum of Art Director.
