A Rebuild Bali Festival (KEMBALI20) features over 100 storytellers and culinary figures who will join intimate discussions and powerful performances in a digital Festival running from 29 October—8 November.

Founded by Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati—an independent, not-for-profit foundation in Ubud, Bali—KEMBALI20 is a celebration of literature, the arts, food and culture, combining the best of Ubud Writers & Readers Festival and Ubud Food Festival into a vibrant online program.  More Information

The Hawke Centre is a proud presenter and supporter of the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival. We have presented, Richard Fidler (2019),  Jane Caro (2018), and Nusrat Durrani (2017), and hope to return for the 2021 program.
