Zhifang is interested in comparing Chinese and Australian community involvement in irrigation management as well as sustainable groundwater management
Zhifang has a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council to do research with Prof. McKay. She has a Bachelor's degree from the Changchun Taxation Institute, majoring in International Taxation
From 1998 to 2003, she worked at the Economic Research Centre of Shanxi Provincial Government, doing research on the environmental economy
