Welcome to Water and Wastewater Treatment
Water and Waste Water Treatment Group (WWT) is a research team at SA Water Centre for Water Management & Reuse. Under the leadership of Senior Research Fellow, Dr John van Leeuwen, WWT research activities focus on the following areas:
Development of models and software for prediction of treatment chemicals and process control for water and wastewater treatment
Assessment and development of innovative technologies in water and wastewater treatment
Assessment of the treatability of raw surface and wastewaters by conventional technologies
Characterization of natural organics and identification and fate studies of anthropogenic pollutants, subsurface and for groundwater quality and resources.
