SA Water Centre for Water Management and Reuse
ECWMR news

Established
in 2004 as a joint venture between the South Australian Water
Corporation and UniSA, the Centre has added significant expertise to the
water research capability in South Australia. Building on established
strengths in urban water resources management, the Centre is
establishing core capabilities in water and waste water treatment, water
reuse, total water cycle management, water sensitive urban design,
environmental biotechnology, water utilisation from the River Murray and the
provision of water services for rural and desert communities.
The Centre will maintain a balance between fundamental and applied
research in a way that attracts key intellectual capability,
promotes innovation and builds intellectual property.
Strong links with the local and international industry partners will ensure
a vibrant, water research capability focused on the core areas of
research concentration.
The Centre's strategic plan sets a course of growth in research standing, technology
transfer and community benefit. It is ambitious and challenging and
will rely on strong partnerships and continuing successes.
