Getting your site set up
The corporate web team (MDU and ISTS) will take you through the process for developing a new site hosted by UniSA.
- Discuss with your area manager and other relevant stakeholders the audience and content for the website. Use the online web enquiries form to inform MDU of your intention to create a new site in the corporate web look.
- MDU will contact you to offer assistance with planning and developing
an information architecture (IA) for your site.
You are encouraged to revisit or review your current site in consultation with
other staff and your area manager's approval, to ensure that your site is
- appropriately designed for the web authoring environment at UniSA
- up to date with web guidelines and standards - Once your site's IA, banner design and other features (see the checklist) have been approved, MDU will authorise the setting up of a subweb for your area.
- When a new site is set up an author or authors are given authoring access. It will be necessary for the author/s to have completed the corporate web training.
