USANet Special Access Scheme
At UniSA, we believe that education should be accessible to as wide a
group as possible. The USANET Special Access Scheme is an equity
initiative established to increase access to UniSA for school leavers
who may have been educationally disadvantaged.
Not everyone gets the same breaks or opportunities in life and for some students going on to university seems an unattainable goal. For many others, it is just too hard to take that step. USANET offers bonus points and a range of support services to encourage students to enrol and succeed in undergraduate programs at UniSA.
School leaver students are eligible for the USANET Special Access Scheme under the following conditions:
- If they have attended a school recognised by UniSA as either significantly disadvantaged or as rural or isolated. No application form is required
- If they are on the School Card and/or Youth Allowance and attend any other school in Australia (not recognised as above)
All USANET eligible school leavers must apply for entry to UniSA through SATAC in the normal manner and will be required to meet any program prerequisites.
