Business Intelligence Reporting Training


Business Intelligence Reporting training is provided by the Business Intelligence (BI) team. The training will cover access to UniSAinfo Reporting (the current environment) and BI Reporting (the Cognos 8 environment to which the University is migrating) using the Staff Portal.

General Training

A 21/2 hour introduction to UniSA’s reporting environment. Participants learn the basic features and techniques for cube manipulation and report use. General information is provided about the reporting products available.

Training is conducted on a monthly basis at City East Campus, IT training room C3-22.

Contextual Training

Context based training that focuses on information relevant to participants' roles in the workplace. The session also covers an introduction to advanced techniques such as graphing, sub-sets, exception reporting, bookmarks and calculations. The training is small group based and developed in collaboration with the BI team.

Email Information Analyst: Business Intelligence who will assist in developing the training content and group requirements.

One-on-One Training

At your desktop training based on your requirements. General training is a prerequisite to this training.

This training is done at your PC but we encourage other people to be involved, to a maximum of three.
