Retention rate |
|
Retention rates are calculated as the number of continuing students enrolled in Semester1 of a year divided by the number of total students enrolled at 31st March of the previous year, less students who completed in the previous year. It is only a "one-year" snapshot of student enrolment flow. Care must be taken in interpretation as it is an apparent rate only and can produce anomalies especially at the program level. |
