Award for student peer leader

Raphael NguyenRaphael Nguyen is one of seven students from Australian universities to receive an Outstanding PASS Peer Leader Award for 2008 at the 4th National PASS Forum, held this year at the University of Sydney.

The Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) program is designed to help students in the study of a course with the guidance of PASS Peer Leaders, current students who have already successfully completed the course.

Nguyen, a commerce and applied finance double degree student, is employed by the Division of Business as a PASS Peer Senior Leader in the accounting, decision and accountability course.

The Achievement Award in Recognition of Excellence and Contribution to Student Learning is a competitive award provided by the Australian National Centre for Peer Assisted Study Sessions.
