Magill hosts comedy fundraiser

Students and staff at Magill campus are joining forces to raise money to support one of their own. A comedy show will be held on March 7 in the Kaf to support the Colbert family and their four-year-old son who has Batten disease. Lorraine Colbert is a student at the campus. Batten disease is a fatal degenerative disorder (www.battens.org.au). The lunchtime comedy show will feature Michael Chamberlin, Charlie Pickering and Justin Hamilton. Entry is a gold coin donation and for a few more coins there is a sausage sizzle available too. All money raised will go to helping the family attend a national forum on the disease.
