$18,000 Andrew Knox scholarship
The
closing date for the Andrew Knox Memorial Scholarship for research into
industrial relations or labour issues has been extended until November 30.
The scholarship – worth A$18,000 a year for up to three years – was established to commemorate UniSA graduate Andrew Knox, a committed unionist who died at the World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001.
Knox studied at UniSA in the late ‘80s and went on to build a career in industrial relations, working in various positions including senior industrial officer for the Australian Workers Union.
The Andrew Knox Memorial Scholarship is open to UniSA PhD or Masters by research students who are citizens or permanent residents of Australia, as well as junior academic staff members.
