Create a custom content object
The content object window will open on the Create new tab.
- Select Create custom as indicated by the arrow in the
image above.
The Name content object window will open.
- Enter a name for the content object (Web site).
Note: The name must NOT contain any of the characters:
! “ # & * / . , : ; < = > ? \ ^ ` |
- Click Next.
The Customise details window will open.
- Select a theme (UniSAnet-1,
2, 3 or 4)
by checking the radio button next to the theme name.
Note: Click the underlined name to preview
the theme in a new browser window.
- Select information to display in the
banner.
The following options are available in the drop down list.
- Medici - area and catalogue number, eg HUMS 1011
- SRIS
- six digit Course ID eg 102756
- Object only - Web site name, eg "Online resources"
- Default - all of the above.
OR
- Enter the name of the custom theme created for your school or
program.
- Select a template.
Note: The FrontPage template is recommended to
comply with accessibility guidelines. Pages created in Word are not Web
accessible.
- Select Next.
The Customise structure window will open.
- Enter the number of Web pages required.
- Click Next.
The Customise structure (continued) window will open.
- Enter a name for the Web page/s.
Note: Select a
start page
for the Web site if you are creating more than one page.
- Select Save.
The Content object window will refresh.
- Select Preview as indicated by the arrow in the image above to
view the new Web site.
