Before you begin editing images, you’ll need to prepare the editing environment and create the appropriate path for uploading images to your course delivery area.
It is advisable to keep the original image so that if you make a mistake in the editing process, you can access the original and begin work again.
-
Open Windows Explorer (right-click start and select Explore).
- Place the cursor where you want to create the folder.
- Click File on the top tool bar
- Click New
- Click Folder
- Type the folder name ("editing images", or similar).
A network place is required to transfer images to the course delivery area and to access images when linking them to a Web page within your content object (Web site).
See Create network place for a delivery area for instructions.
Measurement units need to be changed in Microsoft Photo Editor to ensure correct functionality. You’ll only need to do this the first time you use Photo Editor.
