FrontPage template

When creating a content object (Web site) you are given the choice of creating the site using the FrontPage or Word Template. If the FrontPage template is selected, all additional Web pages will be created automatically with the template.

Format page using template styles

It is important to use only the styles contained in the template and not create additional ones. This will ensure that accessibility guidelines are met; as the template has been created with an appropriate font style and size. Formatting can be done by using the drop down style menu or by clicking buttons on the Formatting tool bar.

Formatting toolbar buttons

To apply styles using the formatting tool bar:

Note: The underline and italic styles should be used cautiously.
Italics are difficult to read on-screen as the text breaks up as it slants to the right. This can make it difficult for someone with a vision disablity to read.
Underlining is the format used to define hyperlinks. It can become confusing if viewers perceive underlined text to mean a link.
Bold formatting is probably the best to use to attract attention.
