Set security for a delivery area
You will need to set security after you have created a UniSAnet Web site, and before you link to it from your course information page.
Begin by going to the Content object screen. (If you are viewing the live Web site view, click Change at the bottom of the left hand navigation frame.)
- Click the Learning objects tab as indicated by the arrow in the image below.
The Learning objects screen will open.

- Click Security as indicated by the arrow in the image above.
The Security window will expand as shown in the image below.
Note: You may have to scroll down the screen to see the expanded Security window.

- Click Submit as indicated by the arrow in the image above.
The Security Manager screen will open.

- Click Add users as indicated by the arrow in the image above.
The Security Manager: Add users screen opens.

- Select the Role of the person or group you wish to provide access for. The role of Learner gives access to students to “view” the Web site. Content Developer gives access to other staff to “edit” the Web site.
- Click Search for users.
The Security Manager: Search for users window opens.

Access instructions on setting security for:
- Individual student
- Student groups (such as all the students enrolled in a course)
- Individual staff
- Staff groups
