Discussion toolbar

Below is a summary of toolbar functionality available to staff with content developer access.

1. Home - opens a specified Web page. The default is the course information page.
2. Contents - opens the contents frame.
3. New message - creates a new message.
4. Search - opens a search facility within the discussion.
5. Properties - allows you to set advanced functions.
6. Statistics - lists names and postings of contributors.
7. No frames - removes the contents frame from the discussion.
8. Read all - shows all postings beginning with most recent.
9. Notify - enables staff to receive email notification of a new posting.
