Add discussion
Once a discussion has been created, it can be added to a course Web site.
- Open the live Web site view.
- Select Change as indicated by the arrow in the image above.
- Select Edit structure.
- Click the Add object.
Note: To add a discussion to a folder; click the expand button under the folder and click the folder's Add object button.
The Add new object window will open.
- Select Discussion.
- Click Next.
The Select an existing Discussion object screen will open.
- Tick the Select box of the required discussion.
Note: Leave the Open in set at "new window" to ensure accessible functionality.
- Click Save.
You nee to set security for the discussion before students can gain access.
