About UniSAinfo
UniSAinfo is a web based corporate administrative information system
which is co-sponsored and supported by Information
Strategy and Technology Services. The main business co-sponsors
include Student and Academic Services,
Flexible Learning Centre, Human Resources and Finance.
Core functionality of UniSAinfo
- UniSAinfo Student Section: This application allows registered staff to access student information which is sourced daily from Medici, but in real time for all other corporate student systems.
- myUniSA: This application (also known as the student portal),
allows students to access their own information which is sourced daily
from Medici, but in real time for all other corporate student systems.
- Most myUniSA screens are identical to UniSAinfo Student Section screens. (An example of a screen where the information is different is the student's Course Enrolment Screen where the UniSAinfo Student Section displays a Mark column but myUniSA does not.) While myUniSA is a separate application for student use only, it uses data in the UniSAinfo database.
- UniSAinfo Student Impromptu Catalog: The catalog allows users to create reports without needing to use joins. More information is available in the Student Reporting Matrix.
- UniSAinfo Staff Section: This application allows registered staff to access staff information which is sourced mostly daily from a range of corporate staff systems.
- Interface Hub: Most interfaces to or from corporate systems go through UniSAinfo.
