The Unaipon School

The Unaipon School is named in honour of David Unaipon, the Indigenous inventor and author, and his father, James Unaipon, the first Indigenous teacher in South Australia. It is located within the David Unaipon College of Indigenous Education and Research and offers programs in Aboriginal Studies and Australian Studies and a range of double degrees. An active research culture is promoted within the School providing opportunities for important research partnerships nationally and internationally.
