AssignIT

Please remember to set up AssignIT for your offshore students. It should be set up by class, not by course. Class numbers that are available can be viewed on the TSS Consolidated Timetable and will be emailed to you by SSA's approximately 1 week prior to the commencement of the semester.

We recommend you allow assignments to be submitted approximately 2 weeks prior to the deadline as this is when we start to get enquiries. It is helpful to transnational students if you advise them of the opening and closing time in your Course Information Booklet or on the Course Noticeboard. This will reduce anxiety and enquiries.

If you have mentioned submission via AssignIT in your Course Information Booklet a link to AssignIT will be added to your course area. This does not indicate that AssignIT has been set up - it only provides access to the interface.

AssignIT must be used for all transnational courses unless an exemption has been granted by your School. Contact your SEO if you wish to apply for an exemption.

Technical assistance is available from Wayne Pedder: Online Advisor. All other enquiries should be directed to your School Executive Officer.

  • Recommendations and new processes will be available soon and circulated for your comment

TSS Consolidated Timetable

TSS are pleased to introduce the new Undergraduate Consolidated Timetable. This is a spreadsheet of all undergraduate BUE courses taught offshore through our partners located in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong and is housed in the Division share drive. It can be accessed 'read only' by any BUE staff member and provides useful information for Heads of School, administrative staff and discipline teams, in relation to what courses are being offered offshore, when, where and by who. It also outlines teaching dates and deadlines and is updated on a daily basis by PRA¡¯s in response to timetable and staffing changes. Class number and Study period information is available and all deadlines outlined in your TPI can be found.

The path to this document is:
M:\TSS Tracking\TSS Consolidated Timetable (open as read only)

NOTE: There is a column listing result entry deadlines for transnational courses. Late results impact on eligibility to graduate, academic review outcomes and whether students are eligible to receive conceded or terminated passes.

HOW TO UPDATE: Please send changes and updates to the PRA for your program.  Click here for contact details.
