Welcome to the ISST - Transport Systems

The ISST - Transport Systems was one of the first two "University Funded Centres" to be established within the University of South Australia, and is the pre-eminent centre within the University for research, post graduate education and professional training in transport systems and logistics.

Road Safety Auditors Course 12-15 April 2005

A course designed to produce trained Road Safety Auditors in line with the national guidelines for accreditation of Road Safety Auditors.

The ISST - Transport Systems at the University of South Australia ran its 2005 training course for road safety auditors on 12-15 April . Successful course participants gained accreditation with Transport SA as road safety auditors in South Australia, which under reciprocal agreements with other state road authorities gives them similar accreditation throughout the Commonwealth.  The course was presented by Professor Michael Taylor, Dr Wen Long Yue and Dr Jeremy Woolley.  Further details can be viewed from the brochure below.

27th Australasian Transport Research Forum

September 29-October 1 2004, Adelaide Australia
This sees the 27th Australasian Transport Research Forum come to Adelaide, South Australia.  The 2004 ATRF was judged "the best ever". 77 fully refereed papers were presented to an audience of more than 190 delegates.  The theme of the 2004 ATRF was Transport and society: creative responses to change.
