Call for abstracts
The Conference organisers are calling for abstracts from
practitioners, consultants, government officers, community people and
academics who wish to present their recent work at the Conference. The
abstract will be no more than 250 words using the
downloadable template (Word
document 52KB). All presentations described by the abstracts will be
considered for inclusion in the Conference program.
Academics may submit their abstract with a view to producing a paper –
upon invitation – to be peer-reviewed and published as part of the
academic output of the Conference. The full paper will be reviewed by at
least two independent referees under the expectations that the paper
will be presented in person at the conference.
By having two options for presenters
(presentation only or presentation plus paper), the Conference
acknowledges the valid and worthwhile work performed by the many
practitioners, consultants, government officers and community people in
the cycling arena.
Abstracts for all presentations will be available to delegates at the
conference. All peer-reviewed full papers will be published on CD and
selected papers will be included in a special issue of an appropriate
journal.
The submission for all abstracts and the review process timetable is:
- Friday 14 July 2006 Deadline for receipt of abstracts (emailed to totw@sapro.com.au )
- Friday 18 August 2006 Invitation to prepare a presentation and invitation to authors to submit a full paper for review
- Friday 13 October 2006 Deadline for submission of papers for review
- Friday 3 November 2006 Notification of suggested revisions
