What a ride it’s been! Over hundreds of kilometers, under gruelling conditions, and in temperatures over 43 degrees, the amazing athletes of Team UniSA’s men’s and women’s Santos Tour Down Under teams have achieved incredible results. Hats off to our remarkable guys and gals – Nathan Earle, Sam Welsford, Steele von Hoff, Alex Porter, Zak Dempster, Scott Bowden, Tim Roe, Katrin Garfoot, Shara Gillow, Rachel Neylan, Tiffany Cromwell, Lauren Kitchen and Lauretta Hanson - as well as all the team, crowds and supporters - you’ve done us proud!

A passionate supporter of Australian cycling, Andrew Christie-Johnson has been both mentor and promoter of some of Australia’s leading riding talent, including Ritchie Porte, Will Clarke, Nathan Haas and Nathan Earle.
The UniSA women’s team will be riding for glory this year and they have the talent to stand out in a field of 17 international teams.
The UCI accreditation for the race has been raised to a 2.1 class event, making more points on offer for the riders and bringing the event just a little closer to World Tour status.
