The team was highly commended in last year’s Teaching Excellence awards and have been consistent winners of Supported Teacher Awards and University Teaching Grants. They are innovators in using technology to assist their teaching, they accommodate students from diverse backgrounds and differing learning styles, their student feedback is of a very high standard and they publish and present widely on engineering education.
Dr Raj Thalluri
School of Pharmaceutical, Molecular and Biomedical Sciences
Dr Thalluri’s student evaluations were outstanding. He teaches medical
sciences to students across the Health Sciences Division and at Whyalla. He
is a former winner of a Supported Teacher Award, and uses a student-focused,
case study approach to help students succeed in subjects that many find
quite daunting.
